Process development

Our development team (engineers from the fields of mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, materials science) in the field of process development work on very varied projects. In particular, the assembly processes in the clean room with particularly high cleanliness requirements are always particularly challenging. Since our engineers at etg not only work out the processes in theory on the computer, but also test the processes themselves in the clean room, the work is very varied.

Special test benches and testing

Our development team (engineers from the fields of mechatronics, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering) at etg in the field of test bench construction and testing develops special test benches and carries out tests in close cooperation with the customer. The very varied tests always present our team with new challenges. In particular, tests in the clean room under particularly high cleanliness requirements are always particularly exciting. The developers work very practice-oriented. The assembly, commissioning, measurement system analysis and testing is carried out by the engineer himself.

Machining

In our small machining department at etg, we manufacture a large proportion of prototypes, one-offs and very small series. Due to the sometimes highly complex components and the large variety of parts, the work is very varied. The proximity to development allows quick feedback to the engineers so that the parts can be quickly adjusted if necessary. We are constantly expanding our machinery and our team. We currently operate two milling machines (DMU50 3rd Edition, HURCO VM1) and two lathes (DMG CTX 310 and DMG alpha 300).

Cleaning und assembly

The components for the semiconductor industry have to meet special cleanliness requirements. The cleaning and assembly team has to clean and assemble constantly changing components. On the one hand, cleanliness is not easy to achieve, on the other hand, very clean parts are much more difficult to assemble, since there is no "film of grease" and the parts do not slide on top of each other. The cleaning and assembly team, especially in the clean room, always faces new challenges. E.g. under particularly high cleanliness requirements, where e.g. B. Some surfaces must not be touched. The assembly team works closely with the process engineers.
